Free 1 hour CLE at U of I Law School April 9

A free CLE Event will be held at the University of Iowa College of Law from 6-7 p.m. on Friday, April 9.  The CLE presentation is: ”Resolved: That the McCarran-Ferguson Act, which provides antitrust immunity to the insurance industry, should be repealed.”  Presenters are  Donald J. Boudreaux: former Chair, Department of Economics, George Mason University; former President, Foundation for Economic Education
Herbert Hovenkamp: antitrust expert and Professor, University of Iowa College of Law.  The CLE will be held at Levitt Auditorium, University of Iowa College of Law.  This event qualifies for 1.0 hours of CLE credit and is sponsored by the Iowa Lawyers’ Chapter and University of Iowa Student Chapter of the Federalist Society
RSVP: Those attending the dinner reception after the debate must RSVP to fed-soc@uiowa.edu by April 7. There is no charge for dinner. Other RSVPs are appreciated.
