Dean David Walker of the Drake Law School will be the speaker at the next meeting of the Linn County Bar Association, which will be held on Thursday, April 19, 2007, beginning at noon at the Cedar Rapids Art Museum on Third Avenue S.E. across from Greene Square Park. FAMILY LAW COMMITTEE MEETING The next meeting of the Linn County Bar Association‘s Ad Hoc Family Law Committee will be held on May 3, 2007. Steve Jackson, Jr. will be the presenter, talking on appellate practice.

LINN LAW CLUB Spend time with local Judges and your fellow young attorneys at the Linn Law Club Golf Outing and BBQ on Friday, May 11th. Tee-time is 1:00 p.m. at St. Andrew‘s Golf Course. SUMMER OUTING Mark the date of Thursday, July 12, 2007, on your calendars now. This is the date selected for the annual Linn County Bar Association Summer Outing.
