Cox Appointed Sixth Judicial District Judge

Attorney David M. Cox, of Bray & Klockau, P.L.C., Iowa City, has been appointed District Judge for the Sixth Judicial District.  He fills the vacancy that was created due to the appointment of Judge Mary Chicchelly to the Iowa Court of Appeals.  Cox graduated with distinction from the University of Iowa College of Law in 2007.  After receiving his J.D. from the University of Iowa, he worked as a judicial law clerk for the District Court of Iowa District 2B.  Cox joined Bray & Klockau P.L.C. in 2008.  Cox is a member of the Section Council of the Iowa State Bar Association Family & Juvenile Law Section and was the Section’s vice-chair from 2014-2016 and chair from 2016-2018.
