Iowa S.Ct. oral arguments at Marion HS 10/24; Public reception to follow.

The Iowa Supreme Court will hear oral arguments in Marion at 7 p.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 24 at the Marion High School auditorium (675 South 15th St., Marion). Oral arguments are open to the public.

A public reception with the justices will be held in the Marion High School library following the oral arguments.

Oral arguments will be heard in Simranjit Singh v. Michael Walter McDermott, an appeal from Cass County involving the determination of whether the presence of a cow on Interstate 80 renders the owner of the cow negligent and liable for personal injury and property damages resulting from the plaintiff’s semi-truck colliding with the cow.
