LCBA CELEBRATES 50-YEAR MEMBERS, ELECTS NEW BOARD MEMBERS

Members of the Linn County Bar Association gathered June 12, 2025, for the association’s Annual Meeting, at which Board elections were held and our association’s 50 year members were celebrated.

Nick Kilburg, Iowa Attorney General’s Office, was elevated to President and the following new Board members were elected:


1.       President-Elect: Matt Preston, Brady, Preston, Gronlund (term of presidency 2026-2027)

2.       Secretary: Sarah Barr, Shuttleworth & Ingersoll PLC (two-year term 2025-2027)

3.       Board of Governors:                              

1. Fae Hoover, Kids First Law Center (Term Expiring 2026)               

2. Brian Farrell, University of Iowa College of Law (Term Expiring 2028)

3. Drew Powell, Simmons Perrine Moyer Bergman, PLC (Term Expiring 2027)


The Board extends its sincere thanks to outgoing Board members Ann Gronlund (Governor) and Tony Olson (Past President) for their hard work, dedicated service, and commitment. We’re also grateful that our new Past President, Casey Rigdon, will continue serving on the Board.
