Next bar meeting Thursday, October 16 featuring legislative update and legislative process overview

LCBA members, please join us for the October bar meeting on Thursday, October 16 from 12 to 1 PM at Waypoint, 318 5th Street, Cedar Rapids.   This month's meeting will feature the Iowa State Bar Association’s legislative counsel, led by James Carney and accompanied by Jennifer Dorman, of Carney & Appleby, P.L.C. Jim and Jenny will provide an overview of the legislative process, discuss important legislation from the 2025 session, and highlight key issues they expect to see come up in the 2026 legislative session.
